Yosemite National Park is one of the first wilderness parks in the United States, and is best known for its spring waterfalls. Within the park's nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more. But that is not all -- manmade attractions abound, as well. Restored historic hotels and B&B Inns, golf courses, gourmet farm-to-fork dining, wineries, historic train rides, gold panning, casino entertainment, museums and state historic sites, art and live theater, and festive and cultural events are among the many other attributes that make the county a wonderful spring vacation destination.
